Working on getting back to normal!!

Whatever that is ...LOL.... I've struggled with the after the Holidays blues every year since I was a kid....No matter how wonderful the time spent is or how well planned and easy going it is, I still end up with the sadness and loss that it is here and gone so fast...But ,,,,add to that the work it takes to take everything down that was once fun to put up 2 or 3 weeks previously...I end up with less containers and more stuff and I even gave away bags full to my DIL this year !!This is one of the great wonders of the universe, in my mind...Only God knows the answers to these questions and events....He will tell me in His good timing....I just know it !!!...LOL
I have no pictures to post, still getting things back to "normal"....I'll get some pictures when I am finished and my house is in some kind of order...
God Bless you all !!!

I used to get the after Christmas blues too. It always seemed such a let down after all the preparations. Now I think, when will it be over, lol. One of my tricks is to have something new and something fun that I get for christmas. Then I have something to play with after the holidays;) I am working on a large rug and new punches and patterns that friends sent me. That helps to keep the blues at bay.

Me, too! I have more "stuff" than containers to put them in. I swear DH and DS #2 didn't bring all the containers down out of the attic. So either I go up there to prove them wrong or I go to Target and buy some more.

I had the same problem, then I always tell myself, "Well, next year I just won't pull so much stuff out of storage." But every year I still do the same thing.

Have a great day taking care of the house! I'm looking forward to pictures :)

PS...I'm having a giveaway on my blog if you'd like to enter ;)

WOW!! I love your blog photo!! I get kind of blue after the holidays, too, but try to read or start a new project or CLEAN!! It even helps a ton when I exercise!! Hope your day is going well. Julie
