Well, most of you know that my bestest buddy in the world,Robby lives half a world away from me. But it's funny that the miles that separate us in the physical, mean nothing in the realm of the emotional, spiritual and relationship level. We are truly "kindred spirits" and I couldn't ask for a more perfect friend, for lack of a better word. We tease about being twins, and though it takes only nano-seconds to see that physically we are far from looking alike, we really are so much alike in so many other areas...Alas, we are separated by the "big pond", but are as close as any two friends can be. She spoiled me with a Christmas gift that just arrived today. Oh Robby sent it out early enough, but with the Holidays and the USPS being what it is, it came just a few days late for Christmas, but will stay out with the decorations till at least the Monday after New Year's Day. It is a super duper prim pattern by Pineberry Lane Primitives called Santa & Elmer. Isn't he and his little reindeer just the most wonderful prim goodness ??
Thank you Robby ! I love him to bits ! Oh, and the milky bars and lights also...You are too good to me !!

Ok first a story...Two years ago I was making this dolls head, and my older daughter , Ashley BEGGED me to do a doll with freckles ( like her)....Well the doll was allready looking more extreme prim but when I added freckles, I decided to keep her more "ugly" to be funny...Ashley thought it was cute , but I never made a body or anything..this headless doll floated around my craft room for 2 years now...
So...yesterday, I decided to finish her up and keep her "ugly" unlike my daughter Ashley ( she really is a pretty thing)...lol
AND...I started making up the pattern for her also...
Sooooo...what do you think? go with the pattern???... or No..she is too ugly ???What ?
Primitive Halloween Ashley Annie
Named after my beautiful daughter Ashley, who happens to have freckles just like this gal. Perfect ...

I've just tried punch needle a few weeks ago and have to admit, it does take some concentration...I don't have alot of patience either so it is a bit of a struggle for me...I wanted to finish up this design I created , using a background, but I was running out of floss and my local WalMart doesn't sell it anymore, so I would need to make a special trip to JoAnns and just didn't have time, so I did it without filling in the background...
Have fun !
