Wow....goodies in the mail today !

I was so giddy to have received 2 goodies in my mail today...I bought a small hooked rug from Betty Dekat " @Primitive Betty's" last week and hung it way up on my studio wall over the window. It's the first thing you see when you walk into the room...It is such an awsome hit and miss multi colored mat.Sooo...When I saw her left overs from a craft show she had done, I fell in love with this needle punched "primitive" tuck pillow...I had to ask if it was one of the peices she would be selling, I had to have it...Look at the prim perfect is awsome !!!
Then , reading my blog lists and looking at what others are up to, I happened to see that Lori Brechlin @ Notforgotten Farm had extra copies of the new first issue of "Primitive Quilts and Projects" Magazine for sale....So..I got one...The projects in here are so excellent !! I wish I knew how to quilt, but there are a few projects for other fabric arts such as wool applique and punch needle, which is Lori's project, I know I am doing for sure !!
Now, I'm off to find the perfect spot for my pillow and browse the magazine for a second time around....
Have a great day,

Isn't it so much fun to find new 'goodies' and inspiring too - it always makes me want to punch, punch, punch. Your studio looks so warm and inviting.

Your studio is awesome! I would just spend all my time every day in there, hehe! You picked up some great pieces! I don't quilt, hook, or needle punch but I've been hearing about this magazine in blogland. I would buy it just from seeing the cover on it and I don't even do any of that, lol. I'm sure you will find some great projects in there to do.
