Starting Another Project

I  started a new fall wool appliqué . This design is from my Colors of Fall Doodle Booklet  .... I changed the colors from my original plan to better reflect Fall  

Then..... I finished the first Fall Wool Appliqué 

All I need to do now is decide whether I want to mount it on something or make into a pillow ..... hmmmmm?

Sleepless Nights Have Benefits

 Well, I’m in a weird sleep cycle again. I have some GREAT nights I go to bed, fall asleep wake up 8-9 hours later. Then.... I have nights like last night. Went to bed around 11:30 Tossed and turned till 12:30 finally got out of bed. 

I decided to do this design off the cuff just as I went along. 

I did go back to bed around 5:30 am and woke up at 12:00 noon feeling rested. 

Here’s what I did. 

Working on a Wool Applique Project

 Well I was going to title this “Any guesses what I’m working on ?” But I gave it away. Lol

I’m going to make a wool appliqué pillow from one of my designs in the new Colors of Fall Doodle Booklet.

Here is a pic of the painted design I did in watercolors  I don’t have a lot of wool left , I’ve sold most of it but did save some so, I changed up the colors a bit  

It’s been ages since I did hand stitching but I’m sure it’s like riding a bike. Lol Here is a pic of what I’m using for wool and a cool piece of old flour sack cloth for the background.

Weekend Watercolor

 Hello friends. I had a busy weekend working outside .... just some mulch and trimming but it sure does make a world of difference. 

Before I went outside into the heat, I took a little time to do some fun, loose watercolor painting. I’m stuck in Fall mode , so I painted in muted tones.
