Punch needle projects, inspiration, what's next.....

I've been keeping myself busy trying to get the hang of and improve my skills in needle punch (punch needle ...which is it ?)....Here is my Valentine's Freebie Doodle almost done...and my other doodle finished....

I usually color in my doodles on the computer and print off just to give me some inspiration for colors......

Here are my baskets with threads...you should have seen them all over my floor last week...these are ALMOST sorted by colors....lol

I finished up these rag stuffed doll bodies but they have been left unattented to...They will be the "prototypes" for a new pattern.

All done:

It doesn't look like your punch needle work needs any polishing. Those are great!
I've a friend who does quite a lot of punch needle and we try to come up with creative ways to use them. What do you do with yours?

Just love it Robin!!!! I need to get a punching!!! Guess what I saw today?!?!?! I went to the wool shop in Chambersburg and Kathy gets out this BEAUTIFUL punched piece and said she made it for a magazine! I thought it looked familar and then she said it was designed by a Robin and I knew right away it was yours!!! I can't believe she punched it in 2 days! So so very pretty! I said "Hey... I know that Robin"

Robin,
Try this rug hooking tutorial:

You would have to have someone cut the wool, or get a small kit. I'm just using a hoop and hook (under $8). If you're punching, just use the same techniques for backgrounds, outlining, etc. Maybe youtube has some video demos for rug hooking.
