Hey Robin, I was searching for your zinc lid tut that Teresa from Teresa's Primitive Treasures gave you credit for and came across this post. I wasn't following you back then so I haven't seen this yet. I LOVE your home! We share an identical taste it looks like. I have a hanging scale like yours only mine is yellow. I have it just sitting on the floor right now because I don't know what to do with it. I didn't want to put a hole in the ceiling. I love what you did with yours! That is a great idea! I would like to paint mine but it's been in the family a long time. I don't mind painting other people's antiques lol, but something about being in the family, I like to preserve the look. But bright yellow?? I really like yours in black. I pulled up every one of your pictures for a closer look and I love your decorating style and all your prims!!
