What I've been up to and...a special Birthday...
Hello...I've been gone a while, well, I've been away longer before, but I have been pretty busy ...I even have a few pics to prove it...**see above...**
allthough I'm not sure if the pictures will be in order so you might have to just figure out which pic goes with which statement....lol
1. re-arranged my wool again. It looks like my stash shrunk, but actually all I did was smoosh ot together....lol.
2.I spent an entire day pulling threads apart, unraveling tangled floss and arranging according to colors( numbers).I was afraid I would never want to look at floss again after that..I should have taken before pics...yikes !!
3.I'm working on a new snowman doll and pattern. I've been making 2 of each prototype..one for me, and one to sell...I'm happy how it's coming along...
3. I forgot to post pics of some of my Fall decor, now I am working on putting Thanksgiving decor out...
4.I'm still working on my Turkey punch needle.
5. And.... My beautiful baby, number 6 , is 18 years old today !! It's bittersweet you know...Het to see the last of my babies become legally an adult ?? But yet, it is exciting also... Here she is with freshly dyed hair and the ritual eyebrow pluck...lol..don't know what it is, but my daughters and even my daughter in laws end up with a new Momma L. eyebrow plucking on their birthday's.....????
Happy Fall Weekend everyone !!
Robin
Hi Robin,
ReplyDeleteWOW! That is a LOT of floss! I love your star pin cushion! Your Fall decor is BEAUTIFUL... your home looks very cozy and inviting. Your baby is 18? It's crazy how the time is flying by... She is beautiful.
Hope you have a great weekend!
I'm drooling at all the wool! As for floss, you might have a little more than I have(but that could change any minute!).

Very busy indeed! Can't wait to see the snowman pattern! You're daughter looks genuinely happy and this is a beautiful trait! Love the way your home is decorated... looks warm, cozy and inviting!
ReplyDeleteYou know as I look at your photos it appears that you and I share many of the same art passions.:) But girl you must be younger then me if your youngest is only 18. My youngest is 30. Happy Fall to you girl!!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel refreshing to clean up some? Sometimes for me it's like Christmas finding all the fun crafting stuff I forgot I had hidden away. Makes me want to go in my sewing/dining room and clean up. Good job!
ReplyDeleteHB to your daughter! Wow you certainly have been busy - and that is certainly a lot of floss!
ReplyDeleteQuite the floss stash! I'm sure you need it for your creations--you don't want to be working on something late at night and not have just the right color on hand. Your daughter is so pretty! My youngest is in his fourth year of college now and, while I miss him, it is exciting to see him pursuing his dreams and becoming a responsible young man. Have a good weekend. ~Roberta
