I Did It !! My Beeskep Punch Needle....

I started on this Sunday afternoon, and let me say this...Wow !! I did some smaller pieces before, but this one is alot bigger, 7"x 9" and it was very time consuming !!
For a person with a short attention span, it was very hard for me to stay on task.....But...after I got started with the right fabric and saw some progress, I had to finish it !!
Now...some ideas and suggestions for how to finish it ??? Make it as a pillow ?? Frame it ??

  1. Robin! it's wonderful...worth every second you put in to it...you can finish like a little mini hooked rug too...stitch some wool to the back...

  5. Robin, Very nice. I love the color combinations that you used. I hope you were using a 6 strand punch if it is that big - my attention span would never have finished it if you used 3 strands! ~Ann

  6. Robin ~
Great job on the pn piece and at 7" x 9", you punched it very quickly. I usually do what Kelley suggested and finish it as a mini hooked rug.

  8. I just love your piece!!! I definitely need to try this some day!! You did a fantastic job on it. I'm with the others - I think that a mini hooked rug would be perfect as a finish.

  9. Great job, Robin! Nice color variations and changes in the project. Since it's 7x9, I would try mounting it on a hornbook to really show off the size.
