Four new Freebie Finishes...So sweet !!!

Here is a wonderful pillow by Deb @ "Crows On The Cupola "

Next we have a super sweet Buford Bunny Pillow done as wool applique by Susie Delewese of Susie Dele

Here is a wonderful cottage/ shabby chic stitched pillow done up by Suzanne of Enchanted Things Primitives

And last but not least, another super finished item by Deborah St.Germain of Wool N Sails

Now, let me say something..This thrills me to no end ! I have been plugging away at this since 2002. I started out stitching dolls by hand, hubby saw my determination and bought me a small Brother sewing machine at JoAnns and I was off. I have had so many original designs over the years that I never made patterns of, some it is just as well, others I sooo wish I hade made up the pattern.
I am not an artist. I do however have a creative imagination. I make do with what I have and I learn from my mistakes.
I have wanted and waited for so long, for my designs to take off a little. Just to see all of your finishes from my freebie doodles, makes me feel as if I have acheived a little bit of what I am working towards. My ultimate dream is to have my designs licensed, but if it never happens, oh well...it's at least warming and fullfilling to know so many of you really are enjoying my designs !!!
Thank you sooooo much !! Keep 'em coming !!
Robin

  1. More great finishes and that is how I work. My head is full of ideas, but not enough time. Now I need to get back to work on lynette's, then I can start working on some new designs too. I got to see a rug online that was done with one of mine, that is so fun to see.

  4. YOU ARE AN ARTIST!~ I don't know what you are talking about - your art doodles are wonderfully whimsical! Have you thought of submitting your designs to magazines? You would get lots of coverage that way and maybe you'd be discovered and then your art would be licensed? Or you could always just get the Artist Market Handbook and find places that license your kind of art. I'm sure there is a huge market for your work. I can see your doodles in children's books as well as decals for wall art, on children's clothing, pillows, needlearts, embroidery patterns etc.
