Robby and I were yakking on the phone and we came up with an idea...I was being lazy, so I just copied/pasted what she wrote on her blog....lol
....let's have a cross stitch challenge.
http://www.birdcrossstitch.com/CrossStitch/guide2.html Find the bird section. Jenny Rasmussen is the designer....now scroll down and you will see that there are a couple of bird designs that are real prim. If you have trouble finding them, email me at robyn.regan@hotmail.com and I will send you the pattern.
The rules are:
Must use this peacock somewhere in your design.
Sign up here to join and link it to your blog.
Must have a finished piece done in 2 weeks.
This will be fun to see everyone's creativity. Oh and check out http://www.birdcrossstitch.com/ and there are heaps of things for free there....and blank charts to us
Oh this sounds like such fun - I love challenges but I have a huge challenge here just getting my orders out!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to pass on this one.
Hugs, Karen
I've put this link on my blog. I'm a better copier than originator, but I'd like to give this one a try.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of this challenge, and will give it a try. I have added a post to my blog to help spread the word! I'm looking forward to seeing some cool projects. Blessings, Sam
ReplyDeleteI'm inspired. I love peacocks and anything to do with cross stitch and old samplers. I'll want to give this a try.
ReplyDeleteI have added a post to my blog and can't wait to see the results.
