New Lighting in Kitchen ! WooHoo !





As most of you know, I live in a mobile home...now the very new mobile homes are absolutely beautiful, and have all the updated accessories.
Well, my home is a 1989 and still had a few lights that I ABHORRED !!The light directly over my stove and countertops was an ugly flat florescent light...reminds me too much of " institutional" lighting , like you would find in a hospital or school, etc. For quite a while I have been after hubby to buy new light fixtures for my kitchen...Well FINALLY..I have new lights !!
We went with track lighting over the stove and counters, but I love the older vintage look of the rod that they are on and the globes are old looking also... The lighting is so nice and I can see so much better when I cook !!
The fixture over the table was shorting out and blowing out bulbs so we replaced that one also .... I love them both...Now, we are on to re-modeling our bathroom.... Well, soon at least .... SOON I hope !!!!!...LOL

    What beautiful fixtures. I love the dark metal finish. They've come a long way with track lighting since I had it. Mine looked like soup cans on a rod.

    I love in a mobile home as well and we just recently changed out our fixtures . I bought the same one you have over your table. I chose it because it is not as heavy as some and still has the rusty rustic look to it
