I absolutely love seeing all the ways you gals use color and technique..This beautiful finish was done by Sam of "Gollywobbles"Isn't he adorable? And I love how she finished him on a wool pillow with the little rusty bells and she added some penny tongues to fill out the spaces....
Thank you once again to all who use the freebies....It is such an encouragement for me to keep coming out with new ones..I truly enjoy doing it !!

A *New* Spring Doodle " Chick and Eggs"

I was up quite late last night and decided to start doodling...I think I may burn out folks with bunnies, so I love chicks and baskets so here it is.
Also, finished up my wool applique using my bunny sampler doodle, but I started out with a smaller piece of brown wool than I would have liked, and ended up having to change things up a bit, like the lettering and such. I'm not sure how I am going to finish it yet? pillow, frame it, maybe put on a basket ??? We'll see...

Have a great day everyone !

Blown away by this talent....

I love offering my Freebie Doodles, and I especially love seeing the finished pieces from other folks in various mediums... Well, This is a simply AWSOME hooked rug done by Rhonda from " My Glory Stars " Blog, and she sells on Ebay... I love the colors and combinations and shading she used... What amazing talent ! Make sure to check out all of her other beautiful finished projects and you can go to Ebay and maybe be the lucky bidder on one !!

I was inspired by her work, to do something myself, so I am doing up a wool applique in earth tones...I just started cutting out so I'll post progress......
Have a great day... We are off on a short road trip, but when I get back I'll be working on my wool piece...

Finished this sweet little pillow...

This is a great, quick pattern by Teresa of " Teresa's Primitive Treasures"( the larger pillow, but she did make the smaller one in the dolls lap also) for a sweet little pillow to tuck somewhere.. The pattern is for sale on her Etsy shop. I finished it in a few hours. It would have taken much less time except for keeping close tabs on my 3 year old Grandson, Caden. Here are a few pics of him all dressed and posing as his " bad self"...lol
